Spatial Dynamics
Dynamic Space: space that embodies movement.

To create the illusion of motion we could use thousands of tiny frames and run them through a film projector or we could use multiple images on a single surface then connect the static images to create the illusion of motion.

The Kinesthetic Response
Kinesthetics is the science of movement.
If we are able to capture movement in mid stride we can assume where the object is coming from and where it is going creating movement within our minds.

"The Kinesthetic response and the perception of a decisive moment are both based on our past experience and our ability to relate this experience to the images we see (Ch.4, Pg.103)".

Fragmentation
An object takes up various positions in space as it moves and if we take this movement and break it up into fragments within a single frame we can simulate movement.

Multiplication
Multiplication can also play a role in visual storytelling. You could place the beginning middle and end of a story all in one frame, telling the story while suggesting movement.
